I'll start with the difference.
You'll know a fight when you see it when you can easily tell that the two are trying to kill each other. Hell, just waiting to see the outcome is enough to tell whether it is a fight or not. A hint for those still unsure. They probably won't walk together or stop when one of them is injured. I hope that's understandable.
As for sparring. I can easily tell you right now that whoever is actually intending to spar isn't looking to kill the other person. A hint to be able to tell the difference may be any friendliness you notice after the spar.
Any problems with being able to tell the difference, BRING IT TO ME. I already have a list of those prone to fights, so I'll know the difference off the bat.
Now. I allow sparring in this school because I am aware that many of you use it as a form of exercise as well as practice for self-defense. I trust many of you are mature enough to use it purely for that. If I were to keep this banned, then those who are sparring purely for this purpose have to suffer. With no way to train or exercise the way they prefer, they step to doing it out of sight and away from authority. Then, we end up punishing those who don't deserve it.
That... Is why I allow sparring.
Anyone who has problems with this can take it up with me.

Ah, who am I kidding. I'LL BE DAMN HAPPY WHEN YOU'RE ALL GONE! Never in my years have I experienced such a stubborn and direspectful lot like you. That is of course, save for those that actually do come out for laps the FIRST TIME that I ask them.
But, since I am in no mood of getting everyone back in shape after the summer break, I am offering up a SUMMER COURSE to keep you in shape over the summer. ANYONE that is interested should come to my office and place their signatures on the sheet posted there. No signature, no course.
